Formal Floral
The C8 Cornice above shows the classic elongated look of an SV non-repeating cornice style applied to a wide window. The rich tones of the floral fabric works well with the cornice style, which has enough dips to maintain its distinctive shape on a wider window. Remember to develop an expectation in your client for an elongated look in these situations and your treatments will never disappoint.

Go Green
A contrasting example of the C8 style above, also applied to a wider setting (in this case a double window), this cornice out of a vine-patterned fabric adds its gracious dipping profile to a grass-green sitting room.

Good Angle
For C43 Cornices, as depicted above, we keep the angled portions on a 45° slant, and therefore this style will usually bring very few surprises when used on wider windows. Here it makes an elegant impression in a solid silvery fabric, with matching drapery side panels positioned to create a strong geometric framing of the window.

Odd Couple
The designer who specified the non-repeating C53 Cornices above liked the results, in which the proportions vary from the single window on the left to the triple window on the right. If you wanted to treat an "odd couple" pair of windows such as these in a different way, we welcome your sketches. Additional points or dips in the larger cornice would more closely approximate the "shapeliness" of the smaller one, but we need your input to ensure that we create such a custom variation to your taste.

Bedding Complements
In the same room as the previous photo, the other side of the wide cornice leads the eye to the complementary SV bedding products, which include an H10 Headboard and a Fitted Bedspread with Q5 hand-guided quilting.

Tip:
Tip: When filling out your SV work orders, always remember style codes for these three types of products: C__ for cornice styles, H__ for headboards and Q__ for quilt styles on bedspreads and coverlets.

It's Like a Sleep Wave
The curvaceous C50 Cornice, above, casts a soothing spell over any bedroom with its gentle waving pattern. Here it keeps quiet company with an SV H2 Headboard, and our most popular quilt style, the diamond-shaped Q12 on a Fitted Bedspread.

True Blue
The most tried and true and by far the most popular of SV cornice styles, the C1, as shown in the photo above, will always keep you on the straight path, and delivers pleasing results for all size windows. The example above features optional large top welt to go with the included welt along the bottom (also the large size in this case).

White on White
Finally, the photo above shows another example of the humble C1 Cornice in an elegant setting. The cornice spans a quadruple window and turns a corner neatly with clean lines that mimic the grid of cieling beams. The subtle geometric white on white backdrop sets the stage for the bold curvature of the furniture.
