Shelbourne Sails into Safe Harbor
Drop Anchor and Reef the Mainsail
This Shelbourne Valance will drop anchor in the Guest Room of a luxurious vacation home at the beach, complete with nautical fabric depicting sailboats tacking back and forth. A salty line (that's "rope" to you land lubbers) reefs the mainsail (er, "holds the pleats in place") with X shapes, before disappearing neatly through grommets to travel below decks.

Attention to Detail
Says designer Nanette Price, "I appreciate the attention to detail in this valance. I had the opportunity to visit the workroom in the early stages of fabrication and my CSR, Kay, took me out to meet with the Stevenson Vestal artisan, Elaina, who made this valance. Elaina took my drawing and understood it perfectly. Her placement of the fabric pattern and suggestions for the size of the X's makes all the difference in the finished product."

Complementary Neutrals
Nanette continues, "Neutral colors will play a dominant role throughout this house, with lots of honey-colored wicker pieces. For the Guest Room, the tan and white colors of this valance will complement the Seaside White furniture and 2" white wood blinds."

Congratulations to Nanette Price and N Design International of High Point, NC for catching our eye!
