Hands-On Approach
Hand-Sewn Means Quality
We will always hand-sew trims with a decorative lip or no lip to the face of Draperies,
Valance tails, Cascades and pelmets, and Quilted Bedding. These trims include tassel fringe, ball fringe, flat braid, flat band trim (as shown here), decorative cord without lip, and some bullion fringes that do have a decorative lip.

For superior quality, SV Special Drapery Artisan Loretta Edwards hand-sews this flat band trim to the face of a drapery.
Why not glue it? Some workrooms use glue to apply trims to draperies, but this technique will not always provide lasting results. Only hand-sewing provides the quality you and your client deserve.
