The Installer's Art
While our feature article for May (Tour of an Idealized World) shows the finished results of an SV Turnkey installation, our May Insight shows the work in progress, with SVI Installers caught in the act of creating Installer Art. Go behind the scenes and learn the many steps that our professional installers take to do the job right.

Go Team. SVI Installer David M. positions plain metal brackets on a bare wall—what a thing of symmetrical beauty! Then he moved on to the next room, leaving his minimalist artwork behind...

Give and Go. Meanwhile, SVI Apprentice Installer Amir follows behind on the same window to complete the picture by hanging draperies and placing the top treatment. See the cool tones of the completed room here.

Measure Twice, Drill Once. David M. checks his bracket height by measuring down from the ceiling...

Trust but Verify. He also confirms his bracket height by measuring up from the floor. This method will allow him to make adjustments for any site irregularities.

Come Together, Right Now. A finished window treatment comes together quickly after careful preparations. Here Amir has just moments ago hung the draperies and now lifts a box pleated valance into place. Suddenly, a home is born!

Don't Hurry Love. You can't rush perfection, however, and Amir takes all the time required to steam and hand dress the installed valance and draperies.
