Quick Facts about SV
Did you know?...

A Partnership with a Long History

Dave Stevenson and Bill Vestal formed their partnership 21 years ago. As well as serving in the capacity of the primary leaders and decisions makers for the company, owner Dave oversees all Financial and Accounting aspects of the business while owner Bill heads up Operations. Dave enjoys a happy home life with his wife and two children, a son and daughter. Bill also claims wedded bliss and dotes on his two grown daughters.

A New Friend Joins the Team
Bill and Dave have recently hired Jim Butler as our Vice President for Sales and Marketing. In this role, Jim now completes the executive leadership of Stevenson Vestal in this third vital area of our business. Bill and Dave have empowered Jim to revitalize and reinvigorate our relationships with all our customers. Read more about Jim in our October article: A New Day for Relationship Building.

A Central Location
The location of Stevenson Vestal's modern workroom facility in sunny Burlington NC positions it centrally on the Eastern seaboard, midway between Washington DC and Atlanta GA.

Many Custom Products
Stevenson Vestal produces a full range of custom window and bed coverings that includes draperies, shades, valances, swags and cascades, cornices, lambrequins, upholstered screens, bedspreads, dustruffles, headboards, pillow shams, throw pillows and tablecloths.

MAP leads from Apprentice to Master Artisan

We have developed a program for apprenticeship that we call the Master Artisans Program, a "MAP" for Stevenson Vestal's future. Apprentices learn from Craftspersons who learn from Artisans who all proceed towards Master Artisan status.

Status Faxed
Weekly faxed Status Letters from our Order Processing team and your Customer Service Rep (CSR) keep you up to date on all your orders. We'll list all your orders on hold, orders released to the workroom, orders shipping and we'll tell you when.

Questions Faxed, Too
Daily faxed "Q&A Express" sheets from your CSR prompt you to provide missing information or resolve shortages.

Free Estimates
Our Customer Service team offers free estimating services for any project for which you require that extra service. Got something extra custom? No worries. We'll get it estimated for you.

Mobile CSRs
Our Customer Service Reps jump out of their chairs and roam the workroom while still talking to you on their mobile headsets. Their hands-on work style will help you get answers to your problems and allow you CSR to act as your eyes and ears in the workroom.

Digital Photos of Work in Progress

When mere conversation doesn't resolve all issues, your CSR can also provide digital photos of work in progress so you can see things for yourself. We'll show you photos of dropping patterns as in this photo and just about anything that you need to see to understand. As they say, a picture paints a thousand words.
