Unwrapping We unwrap your fabric, the "blank" canvas upon which we will work our magic. Receiver Kathy S. prepares to measure a horizontal repeat on a railroaded pattern.Measuring We note yardage, pattern repeat and fabric width for your fabric and also check in any trims or other materials you send. SwatchingWe swatch your order. And we'll make good use of this vital visual reminder of your material throughout the travels of your order through the workroom. Digital VesselThe Receiver gives the initial shape to the computer ordera digital vessel that will sail on its way, accompanying your fabric to its wondrous destiny! The Receiver includes background info about you and your company and all the details about the fabric she has just held in her hands. Note the string around the fabric. Here, Kathy S. has taken special care to treat this fabric kindlyit has loose upholstery threads on the back sideby using string instead of masking tape. Other fabrics such as velvets receive similar tender care.Tagged The Receiver tags your fabric with identifying paperwork she has created and also attaches her order form as a cover sheet for your work orders.
