Charity begins at home for Stevenson Vestal. The SVGC, our employee-funded and operated Gifting Committee, oversees charitible work for our SV family and community. Activities have included adopting Christmas Cheer families, serving food at the Good Sheperd Kitchen, military care packages, hurricane/flood victim drives, and much more.

Adopt-a-Classroom Benefits Kids

For our latest project, we began with a question: How can we help our children succeed in school? Our answer? Adopt an elementary classroom of an SV employee's child. We gave $1000 of our employee-funded resources to purchase science equipment from Carolina Biological Supply Company based on our teacher's wish list. We also provided activities each month. In the picture at top left you see our experienced Bedding and Accessories artisan Trudy Coble and Drapery artisan Tamika Oldham helping our kids make pillows.
