Botanical Garden

May 3 2024 | By: Tammy Thompson

The origin of modern botanical gardens is generally traced to the appointment of botany professors to the medical faculties of universities in 16th-century Renaissance Italy.

The framed artwork in this Living Room, that seems to depict a whole botanical garden, is wonderfully displayed between Flat Panels with Buckram.

Designer: Stefanie Powell, The Guest Room Inc. Leesburg VA

The artwork features classic herbarium-style illustrations, bringing a vintage, naturalistic element to the room.
The window treatments have a subtle geometric windowpane texture that adds depth without overwhelming the space.
