Bringing The Outdoors In

This dining room is bathed in natural light. Natural light can make a space feel larger and more inviting. In a room with sliding glass doors, keeping them open during the day will allow natural light to flow in. These Unlined Pinch Pleated Draperies help to diffuse the light and prevent glare.

The use of natural materials like wood and stone as accents will bring the outdoors in. Designer Missy Maloney stated, "All went very well and my client loves it."

Designer: Missy Maloney, Ethan Allen-Knoxville TN

A bright bay window in a dining area features large glass panes. The windows are dressed with white, floor-to-ceiling sheer pleated draperies hanging from a dark, angled metal rod. This setup overlooks a lush green backyard and garden.
