Greek Keys

Greek Key patterns, often referred to as ‘meander’ motifs, have captivated the world with their continuous lines forming a repeated maze-like design. Though commonly associated with classical Greek art and architecture, these patterns have made a lasting impact on modern textiles. The Greek key pattern comes in the form of  fabrics and flat decorative trims.

The greek key flat trim on these Top Tacked Drapery adds a pop of color and texture as well as a very modern look and feel to the room.

Designer: Gina Alem, Alem Dickey Keel Interior Design, Greensboro, NC

Elegant transitional interior featuring charcoal grey built-in bookshelves next to floor-to-ceiling white linen drapes with a grey Greek key trim, hung on a brass rod with rings.
Custom pinch-pleat drapes in a natural linen fabric, featuring a vertical Greek key embroidery leading edge (trim).
This kitchen is a beautiful example of Modern Transitional design, expertly balancing warm organic textures with clean, contemporary lines.
The space feels serene and upscale, leaning into a quiet luxury aesthetic. The view of the lush greenery outside connects the indoors with nature, while the dark cabinetry provides a sense of grounding and depth.
