Who's the fairest of them all? Why, these beautiful Cartridge Pleated Draperies of course!

Cartridge pleats are characteristic of historic sewing techniques, originally found on straight panel skirts in the late 1830s through 1860s.

Today we use the Cartridge Pleat Style as a type of heading on our draperies to bring in that old world style.

Designer: Angela Cosentino Interiors, Alexandria, VA.

Floral-patterned drapery in warm terracotta tones hanging in a corner window, reflected in a vintage-style oval mirror against teal walls with natural daylight.
Pleated floral drapery in coral and cream tones hanging from a black rod near a window with a partially lowered teal shade, set against teal walls and white ceiling trim
Close-up of pleated window drapery featuring a coral toile floral print on a cream background, shown on a black rod with soft folds highlighting the fabric’s texture and drape
