The light coming through these Unlined Inverted Pinch Pleated Draperies in this sunroom is a perfect setting for an afternoon of tea and biscuits with your girlfriends, whether it's a bookclub meeting or just catching up. Designer Amy Peacock-Smith states "My client is over the moon with her sheer draperies."

Designer: Amy Peacock-Smith, Ethan Allen Richmond, Henrico VA

The floor-to-ceiling stacked stone fireplace acts as a powerful vertical anchor, drawing the eye up to the vaulted, white-beamed tongue-and-groove ceiling.
The room masterfully balances hard and soft textures—pairing the rugged, organic feel of the stone masonry with the plush velvet of the plum-colored armchairs and the airy, ethereal quality of the floor-to-ceiling sheer drapery.
The soft lavender walls provide a unique alternative to standard neutrals, creating a serene, sophisticated backdrop that complements the cool tones in the stone and the warm wood flooring.
Large-scale windows diffused by sheer curtains maximize soft, natural light, enhancing the airy and spacious feel of the open-concept layout.
The large window is dressed in full-length sheer draperies with a subtle vertical vine or branch pattern, which softens the incoming natural light while maintaining privacy.
The design incorporates romantic patterns, including floral-upholstered wicker seating in a secondary sitting area and patterned throw pillows on the main neutral sofa.
