Our standard pin setting is .25" - pinned for rings.
Be sure to specify your pin setting or hardware if you need a different setting than our standard.
If your drapery will be installed with carriers on a traversing rod, the pin setting is typically 1.5"
If you need your draperies to be slightly shorter, you can lower the pins along the back of the pleat header.
To add length, move the pins up higher. Just be sure to keep the pin setting measurement consistent across the panel.
The number of pins will be determined by the number of pleats on your drapery.
We'll also include a pin on the return side and overlap side of your drapery panel.
The return side is typically pinned back to the wall for full drapery coverage across your window.
To recap, we put together a chart of our most common pin settings used for different drapery hardware styles.
