I think it's safe to say we've been spending more time in our homes than ever before. And if you're anything like me, you might be tired of staring at the same old spaces, week after week, month after month...
It's important to remember that your environment has a HUGE impact on your productivity, creativity, and overall sense of wellbeing. So maybe you'd like to make some changes... But where do you even begin? Brand new furniture can come with a lot of heavy lifting, so why not start small?
Break up the monotony with brand new custom Draperies or Roman Shades made from bright and cheery fabrics. Pull the room together with matching throw pillows, and there's no doubt you'll feel a drastic difference in what once might have felt like a drab, lackluster space.
While it's been hard to say goodbye to some of the travels plans we had in mind for 2020, now's the time to turn your home into the destination of your dreams!
Plus, there's no better time than now to support small, local businesses. So we hope you'll keep our workroom in mind for your next interior design project with custom window treatments and bedding.
And if you're not a designer, we'd love to connect you with someone in the area. All of the interior designers we work with are incredibly talented. Virtual consultations are on the rise, or schedule a private meeting (with mask-wearing & safe social distancing in place, of course!)
Lastly, if you haven't already noticed, our blog has been a bit on the quieter side these days. And forgive me for saying what's already been stated a million times over, but 'these have been challenging times,' forcing many of us to step into new roles out of necessity and wear a variety of different hats.
The speed at which everything has changed feels almost impossible to process. The uncertainty in the air can feel stifling. But one thing is certain- We must keep moving forward (safely & cautiously!) Forging through these times of change and uncertainty with gratitude, hopefulness, and grace.
After being closed for 6 weeks, we felt SO fortunate to be able to safely return to work with new policies implemented, including strict sanitation measures, mask-wearing, and social distancing. We're thankful fo have such spacious facilities to resume operations in our workroom and offices, and we are so proud of the traditional, quality craftsmanship we've worked to preserve at Stevenson Vestal since 1985.
Every custom product in our workroom is special and unique, made from your choice of fabric, specified measurements and style, tailored to fit your space and needs for any room in your home. Working with designers from as far south as Georgia, Alabama, and Florida- and further north, from Washington D.C., Maryland, Connecticut, and Maine... We strive to feel 'local' regardless of distance!
So don't hesitate to express your individuality through interior design, and make your home the destination of your dreams!
