There are two different pulls along the back of our cordless control spring shades- a side white pull device, and a center ring. The white pull knob is fixed directly to the sheathed lift cord. Use this mechanism to completely cover the window and to raise the shade again after it is fully extended.
Gently pull the center ring along the bottom of the shade for small adjustments while raising and lowering. But when the shade is fully extended, use the white pull device to initiate the spring mechanism within the tube to raise the shade back up to the top of the window.
Please note that ALL of our custom shades are fabricated in compliance with the latest ANSI/WCMA safety standards.
There are 3 different lift systems available for our custom shades, pictured above.
If you do not specify a lift mechanism for your custom shade quote, we will include our default Rollease clutch lift system with your estimate.
Regardless of lift system, your shade will have a beautiful finish along the front and a similar fabrication process on the back, with child-safe lift cords fixed to the lining to raise and lower the fabric as the shade moves up and down.
