Mother Of Pearl

Mother of pearl is technically termed “nacre”, which is a crystallized mineral compound that forms on the inner shell layer of certain mollusks. The mother of pearl pictured here is the Pinch Pleated Draperies made from Ventura Oyster fabric. The slightly different tones of pearl with a touch of gold make for a very clean, fresh, modern look.

Designer: Ellen Kilroy, Ethan Allen-Danbury CT

This dining room features a transitional design that blends traditional elegance with modern, clean lines.
The large window has white semi-sheer Roman shades for privacy, flanked by floor-to-ceiling patterned drapes in a gray and white geometric design, hung from an acrylic and gold-toned rod.
The room uses a light, airy color scheme and natural light to create a bright and inviting space suitable for both formal dinners and casual gatherings.
